WHAT MAKES US BETTER

SAFEsystem lock boxes are designed to be installed in a discreet location maintaining the aesthetic quality of your entrance.

A recessed installation of the lock box into the wall eliminates the possibility of malicious removal and theft of the master key.

XT electronic keys can be deactivated.

Commercial members can avoid the cost and inconvenience of replacing the entire lockset system of their buildings.

Residential members have the option of SAFEsystems’ enhanced emergency information delivery system with our SAFEstick and Med-I-tube programs.

SAFEsystem lock boxes are weatherproof with an operational range from -40°C to 60°C.

HOW LOCK BOXES WORK

A typical commercial lock box is mounted on an exterior wall close to the main entrance of a building. It contains the master key to the main door and all secured units inside. The lock box is only accessible by the local fire department. In the event of an emergency, firefighters can gain immediate access to the building potentially reducing the amount of damage incurred to the building and its contents. Smoke damage alone can cause irreparable harm to business computers with the risk of permanently losing important documentation.

SAFEsystem network lock boxes are installed in the wall. This provides an aesthetically pleasing storage and access system for the master key. Fire and paramedic services that participate in our program are equipped with a SAFEsystem key. The electronic XT key provides controlled access allowing for faster entry.

Live network monitoring allows SAFEsystem administrators to disable the key, therefore eliminating the possible need for complete building lock set replacement.
